The Peggy Nisbet story had its beginning in 1953 following the Celebrations of the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11.

At that time Peggy Nisbet made her first porcelain doll, being that of Her Majesty dressed in her Coronation robes. The Company went on to make dolls of royalty and world famous people, all of which became collector doll items. Peggy Nisbet later added teddy bears to her production,

Peggy Nisbet died in 1995 and the business was taken over by her daughter Allison and was later sold,

The dolls are very popular with collectors.

The dolls/clown offered for sale are new and have been in storage for many years.
