Helga Weich has won many awards throughout Europe and America for her hand sculptured wooden dolls, which could be considered to be works of fine art.

The inspiration for her dolls comes from local children in her neighbourhood and in particular her daughter. The facial features of her daughter are very evident in her dolls.

Helga Weich sculptures her dolls with a lot of love and devotion and it could be said that a little of her heart goes into each little doll.
