Annette Himstedt of Paderborn Germany, released her first dolls the “Barefoot Children” to the public in 1986 and set the doll collecting world in a buzz. It was our great pleasure and honour to sell these most beautiful dolls to the Australian collectors, a privilege we have retained up to the final release in 2008.
With the closing of the Annette Himstedt manufacturing factory in Paderborn Germany at the end of 2008, our stocks of her new dolls is now fast diminishing and in many cases we are now down to our last doll. This could be your last opportunity to purchase a new Annette Himstedt doll of your choice and for some, this could be your first and last chance to purchase one of these most lifelike and beautiful dolls. For those collectors fortunate to have one or more of her dolls, the Annette Himstedt name will live on for many years to come.
