Manufactured by Annette Himstedt in her factory at Paderborn, Germany, her dolls are sought by collectors worldwide. The Himstedt Puppen Kinder® are renowned for their true likeness to living children and are considered to have potential investment value. This investment value shows up constantly when her dolls are offered for sale on the secondary market. THE ANNETTE HIMSTEDT CLUB was established in 1996 to meet the needs of her ever increasing number of collectors seeking more information on her dolls. By being a member of the Club, you are entitled to purchase the Club doll for that year if you wish. The Club doll can only be purchased by a member. MEMBERSHIP to the Club costs Aud$114.00 payable annually and enrolment forms are available from approved Club Dealers. Dolls World is an approved Club Dealer and has the enrolment forms available on request. On joining the Club, members will receive as the Club gift, a small replica doll of the Club doll of that year and a copy of the Club magazine "Undine". The magazine comes out in the latter part of the year and is an excellent publication. The new dolls for the 2001 series are expected into Australia late May/early June. The dolls shown from the 1994 - 2000 collection are currently available. In 1999 Annette Himstedt has produced two play dolls for children, namely, Lottchen I and Lottchen II in a bid to fulfil a dream she has had for many years. These particular little dolls are not limited to a set term of production but are expected to be made for some time.
